Description & Application
DVA’s First Step is a water-soluble gel adhesive for the temporary placement of laminates, crowns, and denture wax-up, try-in and final adjustment procedures. Its use simplifies application and try-in procedures without contaminating the working surfaces. Totally water-soluble formula simplifies cleaning procedures.
A major dental-related research group clinically evaluated First Step and reported a very high percentage of enthusiastic acceptance by the dentist respondents. They found the product to be a beneficial adjunct to their armamentarium.
While being clean, non-toxic, non-contaminating and easy-to-use, First Step offers the benefit of adjusting laminate restorations while having a true shade evaluation as the colorless gel does not affect or influence the esthetic coloring of the restoration – a big benefit!
First Step develops a light adhesive bond permitting adjustments without dislodging the restoration or denture try-in and is then easily removed with water.
The product is supplied in a package containing two 10-gram syringes with Teflon tips and a reusable plunger for totally controlled dispensing. This assortment will facilitate use with hundreds of restorations.
